This blog is intended as an adjunct to Granny Robertsons Cookbook.
The image shown here is the front cover of the antique tax ledger that forms the basis of the material. The very nature of the archive means that any number of recipes can be contained within a single post at any one time which makes it difficult to find a specific recipe without complex cross referencing.
In order to alleviate that problem and make them more accessible I am isolating each recipe. I shall be updating the information continually as I process it so keep coming back!
By doing this I shall still be able to continue to publish the documents in their original format on Granny Robertsons Cookbook whilst freeing up the more specific information here.
